Verification / Proof of Nozzle
orifice diameter
Rosemount Orifice plates of
various bore sizes are used to prove the nozzle
orifice diameter in a real time setting. An
Orifice Flange Union holds orifice plates in
place for easy installation.
Each orifice plate is
inscribed the bore diameter ranging from 12mm to
100mm and other pertinent manufacturer data.
In our spray test set-up,
when a pre-set pump pressure flows thru a
selected orifice plate of a certain bore size,
the flow meter will register the
appropriate flow reading
Repeated test of changing the
orifice plate of various bore diameter enable
accurate flow confirmation.
The accuracy shall be within
0.5% of the actual flow or 0.25% over the flow
range. |
